Many of us remember the stories of the dogs seized from Michael Vick’s Bad Newz Kennels in 2007, and I’ve written in the past about 22 of the dogs that found a safe haven at Best Friends Animal Society in Utah. Today I’m writing about one of those dogs, and his name is Cherry.
Cherry was officially adopted on March 10, 2010 and life has never been sweeter! He now shares his life with some mighty nice people by the name of Paul and Melissa, and has become fast friends with his new roommate, a pitbull mix named Madison, as well as the family cat, Emmy. With love from Paul and Melissa and Madison as his teacher, not only has he overcome his shyness, he has also learned what it’s like to be a dog. Yeah Cherry!
Well, Cherry recently celebrated his birthday and as most birthdays go, he is throwing a bash (hosting a raffle!) to raise money for the sanctuary that took a chance on him and 21 others. Find out more about the Vicktory For Cherry raffle, including some great raffle prizes.
