Recently I received a note from Brittany Bang, owner of Audrey’s Boston, telling me about their fabulous new Audrey’s All Natural Dog Treats that they offer at their store, and I was touched and excited by what she wrote. Not because the treats are available in four yummy flavors! . Not because they’re an organic spelt recipe with no wheat, corn or soy! And not just because my dogs love the Blueberry Anti-Oxidant and Turkey & Sweet Potato treats that arrived in the mail!
It’s because in Brittany’s spirit of giving back to our animal companions, she has designated a portion of the proceeds from Audrey’s treats to Wishcuit’s Love Adds Up for a Cure campaign which is raising money to help find a cure for canine cancer. In Brittany’s words, “I really wanted to tie the treat into our store’s mission of giving back to animal charities, and I thought what better charity to work with than Wishcuit because we lost Audrey to cancer.” In my words, “Wow! Thank you Brittany! I feel the love of Audrey and Cain, the two very amazing dogs that brought us together, and that continue to shine their light on our lives!”
Audrey’s was named after a very special little bulldog that Brittany shared her life with, and it was the love that they shared that inspired Brittany to pursue her passion. It’s a fabulous store that really caters to the needs of our furry friends, and their two legged companions. They feature everything you need for your dog, cat or small animal, as well as gift items for animal lovers. Audrey’s also offers an array of services, including dog walking, cat sitting, same-day delivery, and automatic replenishment of food and other provisions.
I could stop right there, but what really sets Audrey’s apart, is Brittany’s passion for helping local animal shelters and rescue groups. Brittany goes out of her way to find unique products from companies that share in her mission of giving back to animal charities, and offers them on a special “middle table” in the store. This is where I’ll also add she carries our Love Adds Up stickers! 
And that’s not all! Audrey’s hosts regular adoption events for dogs and cats from the Animal Rescue League of Boston once a month. Brittany also supports the efforts of other animal organizations, including the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and Massachusetts Vest-A-Dog, which raises funds to provide bullet-protective vests for all police dogs.
