Cain’s surgery went well without complications. The lung lobe, as well as a nearby lymph node were removed and sent into the lab for histology. Results should be available next Monday or Tuesday. Cain will spend the night.

On our way to Ft. Collins to pick up Cain.
Upon arrival, Dr. Biller prepares us for how Cain will look. He is brought out to us and his surgery site looks like something out of a horror movie. A long vertical incision runs down the side of his freshly shaved chest. It’s gnarly and gruesome looking, but he is ecstatic to see us and we share the feeling. Let’s go home.
